About me

Hi! I'm May, a current junior at Tompkins High School.

Welcome to my website!

I'm passionate about assistive technologies and multimodal AI, particularly their applications in robotics and computer vision. My current focus is on exploring how AI can advance assistive tech, preparing to present my findings at science fairs.

I'm actively participating in hackathons and app challenges to develop impactful applications. This year, I'm leading efforts to increase participation in the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Houston!

Alongside my friends, @crystalyang, I'm working on submissions for the Congressional App Challenge, and with @sahusgupta, we're developing a climate livability index app to help people assess locations based on current and future climate conditions.

Additionally, I'm collaborating with nonprofit leaders and leading the development of an AI-powered educational app that personalizes math learning for high school students, especially those without access to costly programs. We're working toward securing a patent for this project, and I'm excited to see its impact!
