Speaking & community

For the past two years, I've co-led the NASA International Space Apps Challenge for Houston and lectured ~500 students on research and AI architecture in academy seminars.

I was awarded Special Congressional Recognition for accessibility-focused AI work serving Deaf and Blind communities and for representing Texas at the International Science & Engineering Fair.

I'd love to speak for keynotes, panels, workshops, school visits, interviews, podcasts, and conference sessions on inclusive robotics, AI, and social impact.

About me

“Today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't.”

I love learning, from the math fundamentals of AI to its societal implications, through the intersection of deep learning, reinforcement learning, and robotics. I want to solve the most important problems humans need solved, but can't. Yet.

There is never enough time to do everything. But there is always enough time to do the most important thing.

I'm working on mine. You should tell me yours; even the Nobel Prize winner I once asked said the greatest things he learned came from experts in other fields.
